You Are a Superman

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJ).

To paraphrase the above verse, God the Father made Jesus Christ to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. A child of God is the righteousness of God in Christ. Anyone who is in Christ Jesus is the righteousness of God. A believer is the righteousness of God. A believer is righteous in the eyes of God. Man may judge that a believer is still in sin or under the power of sin, but God sees the opposite. When you become a believer, the Spirit of Christ becomes united with your spirit and you become one with Him and become the righteousness of God.

The term “the righteousness of God” means you have the ability to be in the presence of God without any sense of guilt, you have no consciousness of sin or sins; you have no sense of condemnation or being condemned, you have the consciousness of being right in God’s eyes and the boldness to approach His throne without fear and feeling or thoughts of inferiority. You are confident in the presence God. And that qualifies you a superman.

The Bible declares that the righteous is bold as a lion and his enemies flee when no one is pursuing them. There is no fear in him. His enemies fear him. He is ever confident in every detail of his life that he will rule and reign in this present life, here on earth.

Romans 5:17b “…much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS will REIGN IN LIFE through the One, Jesus Christ.” No way that a believer becomes a loser in this world. No way! Didn’t you know that a believer is receiving the grace of God continuously and it is designed by God to provide him a life sustained by God’s grace? The gift of righteousness is the everlasting provision of His grace for those who believe. It is the grace of God that makes us superman. It is not man’s ability or capability. It’s not man’s power or intelligence. It is the abundance grace of God that qualifies to do the works of God.

The devil does not want you to know this. The devil will side tract you. He will blindside you so that you remain ignorant of who you are and what you have in Christ. Because the moment you find out that you are a superman, the devil’s work is over in your life. Practically as a superman, you still have afflictions in this world, but praise God you can overcome. Your afflictions are just temporary, they don’t remain. When all the dusts have settled down, you remain standing.

“Many are the afflictions of the RIGHTEOUS, but the Lord delivers him out of them ALL” (Psalm 34:19 NKJ).

The Lord delivers you out of them ALL. All of afflictions will be wiped out by the Lord. Not partly or some, but ALL. You make a list of your afflictions, and I assure you that the Lord will clean out that list in moment. By His grace God will manifest Himself to you.

“The RIGHTEOUS cry out, and the lord hears, and delivers them out of ALL their troubles” (Psalm 34:17 NKJ).

Again, God hears your prayers. Even before you pray God knows what your needs are. God is your help in times of need. As a superman, you are still subject to troubles, but praise God He will deliver you out of ALL troubles. Not some troubles but ALL troubles God will deliver you. Our God is a God who saves and delivers His people from all troubles and all afflictions. God wants you to know and understand this truth. Not many teach and preach this truth. Praise God, we have the Holy Spirit that will teach us and guide us into all truths.

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the RIGHTEOUS forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread” (Psalm 37:25 NKJ).

The Bible declares that the righteous lives in prosperity, not only him but his descendants also, for they will never beg for food. It is the will of God for the righteous to live in God’s abundant provisions. It is an insult for God to see His children living in poverty, because He does not live in a poverty stricken Heavenly. The devil has been deceiving the world that a Christian should live in poverty – it is a life of humility to God and people. That is a lie.

Before you criticize prosperity teachings, why don’t you try to live in a poverty stricken environment, live a lifestyle of a poor where you haven’t eat for days, where you have no place to sleep at night, no clothes to wear and you stink. Oh man, you will learn fast that it is not fun to be poor. It is not a blessing. You always think of begging. You may starve to death. At the latter part of his life, King David testifies that the righteous is always blessed and his children never beg for bread.

When Jesus was here on earth, He lives more than a superman. He wants us to be like Him. Jesus went about doing what is good. He feeds the hungry. He heals the sick. He delivers people who were oppressed. He preaches the good news. He serves His disciples. And then He gave Himself to us. He took our sin, sins, sickness, disease, poverty and saved us through His blood.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NKJ).

Jesus did not leave us alone when He returned to the Heavenly. He gave us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power of God. The Holy Spirit is God’s power and ability. The Holy Spirit is a person not just a power or ability. He is the third person of God. He is our power and our ability. To become a superman, you needed the Holy Spirit to dwell in your body. You needed to be filled with the Holy Spirit. You needed to remain filled and overflowing with the Holy Spirit.

The believers in the Book of Acts are a bunch of supermen and superwomen. Their lifestyle is the work of Jesus. They are non-stop preaching the good news, healing the sick, delivering people who were oppressed by the devil. They are expanding the kingdom of God and overthrowing the kingdom of darkness. They were favored in the eyes of God and men. There were persecutions but they were all overcomers. They are supermen.

It is so amazing when you see people who claim to be believers or Christians and yet live in a miserable life. Who are these people? The Bible does not recognize as such, because those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will REIGN IN LIFE through the One, Jesus Christ. And God is ever faithful to provide for them, the power, the ability, the resources, the money, the health, and the favor.

“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the FRUITS OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS” (2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJ).

God is faithful to supply us the seed to plant for future harvest. God wants us to have abundant harvest of His blessings in the future. It is His will that we sow seeds or plant seeds into His kingdom so that we will enjoy the great harvest, a multiplication of His abundant blessings. We will never beg for anything because the Lord our God is the SOURCE of everything. He is the provider.

Not only that He provides seeds to sow, but He also provides bread for our food so that we don’t have to eat our seeds. This provision of God is the fruits of our RIGHTEOUSNESS. It is impossible and I could no fathom that a righteous man could not live like a superman.
