What would you do if you don’t have health insurance coverage? What would you do if you can’t afford to have one? Can you afford to spend thousands of dollars just to pay off your hospital bills, nurse visits, medicines, and etc. Do you and your loved ones have a choice when in need of medical care?
Probably, the best thing you could do is to stay healthy 24/7 until health care coverage is available. However, there is no guarantee that you can keep your body 100 percent physically fit, or stay immune to all kinds of symptoms of sickness and diseases the rest of your life. What would you do?
Jesus brings a perfect health care program.
In Matthew 8:13-17 (NLT), “When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, Peter’s mother- in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him. That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick. This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”
God is willing to heal you. He wants you healed so you can continue serving him. The scripture above tells us that after Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law, she got up and immediately prepared a meal for him. Evidently, she had a desire to serve God, and Jesus knew it.
If you don’t have health care insurance or benefits, then serve the Lord. You are not required to pay any premium to avail this benefit. All you have to do is serve God, be a part of his family, and make Jesus the Lord of your life. Once you become a child of God, then healing belongs to you. Understand that it is the will of God to heal you from all kinds of sickness and diseases.
In Hebrews 13:8 (NLT), “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Jesus never changes. If he healed all sickness and diseases when he was here on earth, then he still does. If a sick person who had sought Jesus and had received healing, then nothing has change. Jesus has always been healing people and he will continue to do so. He is the healer and he will always be. God didn’t stop or ceased performing healings, because it is impossible for God to cease, or even pause for a moment to be God. He is Jehovah Rapha – the God that heals.
If Jesus is present, then healing is present.
The scripture says that Jesus fulfilled the word of the Lord, “He took our sickness and removed our diseases.” Put this in mind, whenever Jesus is present, healing is present. You cannot separate healing and Jesus. Christ’s power of healing is always available for those who desire to get healed. Many had availed the healing power of his presence, and they all received their healing.
In Luke 8:43-47 (NLT), “A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.” When the woman realized that she could not stay hidden, she began to tremble and fell to her knees in front of him. The whole crowd heard her explain why she touched him and that she had been immediately healed.”
In Luke 6:18-19 (NLT), “They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed. Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.”
The healing power of Christ is always available for us, for he said that whenever two or three are gathered together in his name, he will be there in their midst. And when Jesus is there, healing is there also. We will never leave his presence without receiving anything.
Jesus heals every kind of disease and illness.
Name your sickness and disease, but the name of Jesus is high above all names. Either spiritual, mental, or physical illness you bring to the Lord, he will heal it. Jesus had already dealt this issue of healing on the cross. Healing is forever settled as far as salvation is concern. God did not only save our souls, but healed our physical bodies as well.
In Matthew 9:35 (NLT), “Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.”
In Matthew 4:23-24 (NLT), “Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed – he healed them all.
In Matthew 15: 30 (NLT), “A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.”
Therefore, take advantage of what Jesus has to offer – a perfect health care program. Only put your faith in the word of God. Faith is putting God’s word into action. Act the word of God.
